Dover Main Street is a volunteer driven organization dedicated to the revitalization of downtown Dover as a great place to work,
shop, live, and play. The Main Street Program is the National Trust for Historic Preservations response to the demise of the urban
renewal programs of the 1960’s. Only 1,700 communities in the country follow the comprehensive four-point approach to downtown revitalization
that has been lauded as the most successful downtown development program in the United States. Dover is one of 18 New Hampshire Communities that
operates under the auspices of the NH Main Street Center in Concord.
Your donation helps to ensure that Dover Main Street volunteers can maintain their National Certification as a Main Street Community,
a distinction that we have held since 1999 when we became an officially designated program. In order to maintain our program, we must
demonstrate broad based community support on a yearly basis. Our funds must be derived equally from three sources: local government,
donations from residents, businesses, and civic organizations, and our special events. Levels of Sponsorships
