Dover Main Street is privately funded, and relies on various fundraisers throughout the year to generate money for all the worthwhile projects undertaken.

One of the most profitable fundraising events this past year, was through our association with the NH Racing and Charitable Gambling Commission. NH Charities are allowed to sponsor up to 10 charitable gaming events annually. In 2012, DMS has sponsored Charitable Gaming at the Ocean Gaming Casino, located at 81 Ocean Boulevard right on Hampton Beach. The location offers a panoramic view of the beautiful ocean right on Hampton Beach. With dozen of poker tables, as well as blackjack, roulette and more, Ocean gaming also offers a full service bar, great food, entertainment. DMS receives 35% of the gross receipts for each date it sponsors.

The affiliation with Ocean Gaming has brought thousands of dollars into Dover Main Street. Ocean Gaming has become one of the premiere destinations for charitable gaming in New Hampshire.
