DOVER — It was a success.
Despite the drop in temperature, people were out and about for the first Dover Art Walk, a monthly event that promotes both the arts and downtown businesses.
The event, held on the first Friday of each month from 5 to 8 p.m., is similar to other monthly art traditions across the country.
“It’s the perfect time for Dover to do this,” said Rebecca Proctor of RSP Studio Custom Framing told Foster’s Daily Democrat last month. “The reason we wanted to start this in March is to get it going for the spring. By the time summer comes, it should really take off.”
