self-confidence or assurance, especially when in a demanding situation.
Before the pandemic hit, Danielle Festa was the director of the Dover Art Walk, now she has decided to open her own creative space on Mechanic Street in downtown Dover. She chose the name Aplomb for her contemporary portrait gallery and studio because it represents the type of work she wants to highlight - subjects who have overcome challenges, painted in outfits that showcase their strength. Aside from exhibiting her own paintings of commissioned or gifted subjects from the Portrait Project, Festa is curating group exhibitions and teaching workshops. Private lessons and courses can be attended in person or via zoom. See website for details.
